Every year we celebrate Helena’s birthday in Ankara with our large family with anneanne, dede, uncles, aunties, cousins, some friends….

This year, it was a bit different. This time it was only with our core family of four and Sukrani as well 🙂 Later anneanne, teyze and Kenan joined us. It was in one of the oldest parks in Ankara, Botanik Park with Atakule in the background. It triggered some memories as we used to come to this place so frequently when I was in Helena’s age!

Of course we ordered a birthday cake with Unicorns and lollipops..
